These vehicles do not need to have their ECU replaced when all keys have been lost and new keys need to be originated. Acura’s that contain Type 3 & 4 modules can be programmed by using the TKO and the standard OBDII cable D922876ZR. No additional hardware or software is required.

TKO owners must be aware that Ilco HD106-PT5 and HO01-PT5 keys cannot be added to Acura vehicles with the TKO unless they are pre-coded by way of the RW2, RW3, RW4 device. This function is only available on the RW2 with version 23.0 software. Pre-coded Acura blanks; HD106-PT and HO01-PT are now available from Ilco.
